2. 2.How much are utilities?
   

Utilities vary by usage, of course.  The tenants in unit 3 paid on average $200/month ($50/person) total in utilities (gas and electric) for a 12 month period.  That was less than $200 in the summer and more than $200 in the winter; the variation is due to heating costs.

3. How far is the nearest grocery store?

There is a Stop and Shop ~500 feet (150 m or 1 block) away.

4. What restaurants are nearby?

Brazilian pastelaria, El Salvadorian eatery, Ethiopian Restaurant, Casey’s bar and grill, Coleman’s café, Dunkin Donuts, Ice cream shop, KFC, Pizza, Liquor store, etc.

5. Are there any parks nearby?

Foss Park is right across the street with a public (free) swimming pool, soccer goals, baseball diamonds, tennis courts, basketball court and children playground.

6. How far is it to a bus or the T?

There are buses (Rt. 101, 89 or 90) that run directly to Sullivan Square T stop on the Orange line (~3/4 mile) from Broadway.  Rt 80 caught 500 ft (150 m) away on McGrath takes you to Lechmere.  Rt. 90 caught from Broadway 500 ft (150 m) away takes you to Davis Square.  Other nearby bus routes include 194, 88, 90 and 95.

7. How do I get to my school?

To get to Tufts use Rt. 80 and 89 buses

To get to MIT go to Sullivan and take the CT2 bus

To get to MIT go to Lechmere and the 69 bus, or go to Sullivan and take the 86 bus, or got to Tufts and take the 96 bus, or go to Davis square and catch the red line.

8. Are pets allowed?

Only small pets in cages or aquariums upon manager approval

9. Is there laundry in the building?

Yes, there is a single coin-op washer/dryer in the basement and two laundromats on Broadway ~500 (150m) and 750 (200 m) feet away.

10. Is there parking?

There is one spot allocated for each 4BR unit in the back.  Parking cost is $30/mo. There is also free street parking available (resident and non-resident).

11. Are the rooms or units furnished?

No
